We made the transition to electronic records a little over a year ago. This was a project that I did a lot of research for. I spent countless hours trying to find the right EMR that fit our needs, all while being user friendly. ATGenius does a great job of keeping documentation simple, yet thorough. The staff at ATGenius does a great job of addressing our needs, and making sure the system works for us. Although ATG is relatively new on the EMR scene, I believe it is a great product that can replace other EMR systems that are time consuming and confusing. It is a great fit in an Athletic Training facility.
ATGenius has improved my ability to document anytime, anywhere. Whether I am out in the fields or traveling with a team I can begin documenting right as I finish an evaluation. ATGenius has also improved my level of care. I have had to balance multiple complex concussion return to plays at one time and ATGenius truly made it a breeze to manage all of them. I can't imagine doing my job without this EMR.
ATGenius is the EMR that all athletic trainers should check out. ATGenius is a comprehensive and vital organization tool that adapts to the needs of any organization. ATGenius provides athletic trainers with the ability to create detailed SOAP notes, easy progress/follow-up notes and many communication options. ATGenius’ ability to add in media such as doctor’s notes, helps me keep an organized and complete injury profile. The newest option I’m excited about is the Equipment Loan Manager which will be useful to keep track of non-expendable inventory items.
I had been using a different program for 2 yrs before finding AT Genius. AT Genius is the simplified, catered to athletic trainers program that I needed. It is user-friendly, my athletes can use it with ease, and it has really stepped up our game with medical documentation. AT Genius has increased communication between the athletic trainer, nurse and administration. It has been our all in one solution to our documentation problems.
This is the best program available for the secondary school athletic trainer because it was created by a secondary school athletic trainer who knows the requirements for accurate injury documentation and time constraints we have at this level!
The Rehab Card is another incredible feature and I will definitely be using it for my long-term rehab patients. I also think it can be a great tool for students with nagging issues who can work on things at home or in the weight room with their team. ATGenius has been extremely helpful and something we will use long-term at WDHS.
